313 COVID-19 cases logged in Bicol from July 17-23

The Department of Health has logged 313 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol Region from July 17 to 23.

The latest update pushed the active cases to 709. Meanwhile, cumulative cases rose to 59,924.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

On the other hand, the DOH also logged 168 new recoveries, pushing the total number of recoveries to 56,598.

One new fatality was logged in Masbate to bring the death toll to 2,617.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
