Rosal shares pandemic response programs new mayors
Newly installed Albay Governor Noel Rosal served as the resource speaker during the orientation of newly elected officials in Quezon City.
The program is entitled “NEO Orientation Course: Primed Leaders for Renewed Local Governance.” It is held at the Crown Plaza Galleria in Ortigas Center.
It is a series of courses that will focus on helping the NEOs to “navigate well their First 100 Days in office and explore strategic and transformational actions to improve the leadership and management capacities of their local government towards better services and performance.”
Prior to being elelcted as governor, Rosal has vast and long experience as mayor of Legazpi City.
The Local Government Academy, a program by the Department of the Interor and Local Government (DILG), chose Rosal precisely because of performance as mayor and his outstanding performance in the midst of the pandemic.
Rosal shared with the NEOs how the Legazpi City Government handled the difficult situation and proactively placed in effect multiple strategies and actions.
DILG Secretary Benjamin Abalos, Jr. personally invited Rosal to the said event.
