Rosal: Albayanos will feel changes in gov’t hospitals within 2 months

Albay Governor Noel Rosal assured Albayanos that they will feel some changes in provincial government-run hospitals within two months.

The assurance came after Rosal made a surprise visit to two district hospitals in the First District, namely, Josefina Belmonte-Duran Memorial District Hospital (JBDMDH) in Tuburan Ligao City.

Just like what he told the medial staff at the previous district hospitals, Rosal reiterated the need for the personnel to give due respect to the patients, especially those who are indigent.

“We are here to serve them, they are already sick, let us not make their conditions worse,” he stated.

To the causal and job order employees, he vowed to reward those that has dedication and compassion with an increase in their pay rate. Their contracts would also be extended.

After making an inspection of the facility, Rosal told the Chief of Hospital to ensure that the pharmacy is adequately stocked and find all available means to cater to the needs of their patients.

He also promised to immediately look into the purchase of necessary equipment and machinery which the hospital desperately needs.
