Rosal asks for unity, support as he leads historic flag ceremony


Albay Governor Noel Rosal spearheaded the first-ever joint flag ceremony of the Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) and the Local Government of the City of Legazpi on Monday.

In his short message after the ceremony, the newly inducted governor presented to the employees the new set of public servants of the PGA and Legazpi.

Along with the Board Members of Albay from three districts and City Councilors of Legazpi, the governor administered the oath to serve the public, mainly the Albayanos.

Rosal also announced the opening of his office on the ground floor of the Albay Capitol for easy and swift transactions of the elderlies and persons with disabilities asking for assistance.

He further stated that as the new Governor, he is aiming for the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG, which gives distinction to the outstanding performance of a government unit, and now he wants Albay to claim it.

Rosal said he will have a meeting with the Department of Energy and National Electrification Administration regarding the poor and troubling services of the Albay Power and Electric Cooperative.
