Rosal vows to improve power supply services in Albay

Newly inaugurated Albay Governor Noel Ebriega Rosal has committed to prioritize and improve the power supply services here in the province.

Rosal, in his inaugural speech, said he will fix the “troubling services” of electricity based on several complaints and due to the massive clamors from electric consumers.

Another of the items in the list in Rosal’s agenda is the expansion and improvement of the economic structure in Albay which he explained will optimistically result in more businesses and job opportunities for the Albayanos.

He also mentioned that it is his desire to strengthen the Anti-Red Tape Act and will strictly ensure that every Albayano shall be treated with equal and fair considerations.

“Under my watch, no one is above the law,” Rosal said.

On the environmental program, Rosal mulls to implement the “no plastic policy” in Albay, wherein all establishments will use paper bags as a replacement for plastic bags.

Through this action, there will be a decrease in plastic consumption in Albay, which will have a good and positive outcome,” he said, adding that this policy was currently being implemented in the City of Legazpi when he was still its Mayor.
