Villafuertes vow to serve, make a difference in people’s lives

The Villafuertes took their oath before Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, a day before assuming their respective offices.

Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Raymund Villafuerte won his reelection bid as representative of the second district of Camarines Sur. His son outgoing Gov. Migz Villafuerte won as representative of the fifth district while Luigi Villafuerte won the gubernatorial post.

“Thank You Lord GOD for the trust and mandate given to us by the majority of our people. To GOD be the Glory always, we draw our strength from you. It is purely by your will and grace that we are all here,” said the eldest Villafuerte in a social media post.

The second district representative said it was an honor that the SC Chief Justice administered their oath.

“We reiterate our commitment to serve our people to the best of our abilities and to truly make a difference in our peoples lives. Always keeping in mind and be guided that a true Servant leader should have integrity, Humility and empathy!” Rep. LRay added.

He also thanked their supporters, leaders, friends and family “whose always there, at sa lahat po, Dios Mabalos!”
