Romualdez condoles with family of late CamSur Rep. Andaya

House Majority Leader and anointed Speaker Rep. Martin G. Romualdez expressed his condolences Thursday to the family of former Camarines Sur 1st district Rep. Rolando “Nonoy” Andaya Jr.

Andaya served as House Majority Leader during the Speakership of Pampanga 2nd district Rep. and former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo during the 17th Congress.

“We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Majority Leader Nonoy Andaya,” Romualdez said.

Andaya’s children Ranton and Katrina confirmed the passing of their father on June 30.

“With his steady hand and efficiency, Majority Leader Nonoy guided the House of Representatives during a tumultuous time in the chamber. His abilities as both a legislator and a leader will never be forgotten,” said Romualdez.

“We are shocked by his passing. He will be terribly missed in the halls of Congress. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,” he added.
