DOH records 22 COVID-19 cases in Bicol from June 19-25

The Department of Health has logged 32 COVID-19 cases from June 19 to 25 in the Bicol Region.

The latest figure brought the active cases to 358, while the total caseload of the province rose to 59,190

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

ALBAY: 2 (6.25%)
1 – Camalig
1 – Daraga

CAMARINES NORTE: 3 (9.38%)
3 – Daet

CAMARINES SUR: 11 (34.38%)
8 – Naga City
1 – Goa
1 – Iriga City
1 – San Jose

CATANDUANES: 4 (12.5%)
4 – Virac

SORSOGON: 11(34.38%)
6 – Gubat
4 – Sorsogon City
1 – Donsol

OTHERS: 1 (3.13%)
1 – Las Piñas, NCR

Meanwhile, the DOH reported 22 new recoveries during the same period. The total number of recoveries rose to 56,238.

The death toll remains at 2,534 as the DOH reported zero deaths.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
