Today marks the first year death anniversary of the unjustly killing of the two Absalons by the Local Communist Terrorist Group in Brgy. Anas and to commemorate it, the Keith Absalon Monument was unveiled this afternoon at the Masbate Sports Complex.

The city government’s thoughts and prayers go not only to the cousins but also to the countless others who were victims of this blatant act of terrorism and hopes that at some point, there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Aside from the unveiling, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Friendly Cup was also conducted during the program,” the Masbate City government shared on Facebook.
