Lagman graces ribbon-cutting ceremony of Sunshine Skills and Development Center Building
Albay Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman has graced the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Sunshine Skills and Development Center Building.
“Thanks for inviting me to be one of your guests, Directress “Teacher Ofel” Ofelia Peralta. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was beautiful even as it was meaningful,” said Lagman.
“The inauguration of your Sunshine Skills and Development Center Building means that your Sunshine International School is now ready to work full-time with TESDA as Albay enters the post-pandemic new normal,” he added.
Lagman also noted that the 4,000 square meters of floor space dedicated to the training of Albayanos will help jumpstart the province’s public and private employment capacity.
“The PGA acknowledges how vital your TESDA-approved and -certified skills training programs (Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Dressmaking NC II, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II) in churning out skilled and highly-employable Albayanos,” he said.
“We have battled with this pandemic where we have saved the most number of lives possible. Now we must employ the most number of Albayanos possible. BUHAY asin KABUHAYAN KAN LAMBANG ALBAYANO,” he added.
