Nabua Councilor Donna Oñate falls prey to basag kotse

Nabua Councilor Donna Oñate has warned the public to be careful after she fell prey to basag kotse.

In a Facebook post, Oñate said she was the first victim of this modus in Nabua, as per the Philippine National Police.

She does not want the public to panic, but she urged them to take precautions after what happened to her.

According to her, the incident took place when she attended the Pista ng Nayon on May 27.

Upon returning to her car, she saw that the rear window of her car was broken and her things, including her iphone 11, were taken.

She advised people not to be lax when it comes to their security and not to leave valuables in their cars.

On May 27, 2022 I‘ve attended Pista sa Nayon at Brgy. Lourdes Young, Nabua, after 30mins when I was about to go home it was to my surprise to saw my car rare window broke and personal things was rob including an Iphone 11.

Lesson Learned: Don’t be so lax in all places, don’t leave your valuables inside the car while parked.
