Albay gov’t gives cash incentives to 2 centenarians from Tabaco
Two centenarians from Tabaco City have received a cash incentive from the Provincial Government of Albay.
The payout was spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office on May 17.
“Happy 100th Birthday to Lola Josefa B. Boncacas centenarian from Baranghawon, Tabaco City and Lola Guadencia G. Briones from Oro Site, Legazpi City,” the Albay Provincial Information Office said.
According to the PIO, the additional cash incentive is an initiative of Gov. Al Francis C. Bichara to recognize the contributions of the senior citizens in the province.
The centenarians get an additional P50,000 from the provincial government.
This is on top of the P100,000.00 being provided by the national government through DSWD.
