Suspended Brooke’s Point Mayor Maryjean Feliciano wins as Vice Mayor, to continue to fight for the environment

Suspended Brooke’s Point Mayor Maryjean Feliciano has gotten a fresh mandate as Vice Mayor and has vowed to continue her crusade to protect the environment.
Feliciano was suspended last year for stopping the operation of a mining firm.
She ran and won as Vice Mayor in the May 9 polls.
In a Facebook post, she thanked the people of Brooke’s Point for not being blinded by money and for choosing to vote for the interest of the town.
With her fresh mandate, she would continue to protect the natural resources of Brooke’s Point, she said.
She’s back to defend mother nature!
“Maraming salamat mga minamahal kong kababayan, hindi kayo nasilaw sa halagang 1500, 2000 at 3000, ipinaglaban ninyo ang ating bayan hanggang dulo. Makakaasa kayo na sa panibagong mandato ipagpapatuloy natin ang pagtatanggol sa ating kalikasan.
