Iriga Mayor Madel Alfelor accuses rivals of harassment, desperation

Iriga Mayor Madel Alfelor has accused her rivals of harassing and coercing city residents to put up their campaign materials.

In a Facebook post, Alfelor said the desperate moves of her rivals include forcibly entering the houses of her leaders and forcing them to hang their tarpaulins.

They coerce residents to do so, she said.

It was not enough that they destroyed her own posters; now these trapos are harassing her constituents, she said.

She asked her rivals why they are so disrespectful and why they cannot play fair.

She also asked the people if these are the kinds of leaders they want in Iriga and in Camarines Sur.

While Alfelor did not mention any name, it is no secret that she is locked in an intense rivalry with the Villafuertes.
