Masbate City men walk in heels to honor women

Male personnel of the Masbate City government have taken to heart the saying “walk a mile in my shoes” to understand other people better.

The male personnel personnel from different offices walked in high heels during the Lakat ni MANOY, para kan MANAY activity.

In a Facebook post, the city government shared photos of the men mastering the use of heels.

This was part of the city government’s two-day trade fair as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month.

Several of the participants received prizes during the program.

Let’s hope they now understand what women go through!

“LOOK. Personnel from stakeholders, line agencies and City Government departments ramp walk in high heels during the Lakat ni MANOY, para kan MANAY this morning to start the “An aFAIR for her!”, a two-day trade fair for all Juanas.

This is only one of the activities planned by the Offices of the City Vice Mayor and Sangguniang Panlungsod in celebration of the National Women’s Month this March.
