With the 100.10% rate, Panaligan said that Calapan has achieved herd immunity.
“Thank you very much to all the people, sectoral groups and organizations who worked with the City Government to ensure the success of our vaccination program,” he said.
He also commended the health frontliners of the City Health and Sanitation Department headed by Dr. Lisa Llanto assisted by Dr. Ma. Teresita N. Bolor, Dr. Shaula de Ocampo, Dr. Rachelle Arañez, Dr. Mencee Alferez and Dr. Reo Cantos and the other staff.
“We also recognize the invaluable assistance of the other departments and offices of the City Government that provide additional personnel and provided logistical support to our vaccination campaign,” said Panaligan.
“Patuloy pa rin tayong mag-ingat at sumunod sa tamang health protocols tulad ng pagsusuot ng face masks lalo pag may kaharap na ibang tao o nasa publikong lugar hanggang hindi nawawala ang Alert Level status sa ating bansa,” added the mayor.
