Pop rock band Ben & Ben was one of the top performers in presidential candidate Leni Robredo’s Pasig rally, but it was not the first time they crossed paths.

In a Facebook post, Robredo said not many know that her ties with the popular band went as far back as 2016.

The band sang her Angat Buhay Theme Song when she was just a few months into her role as Vice President.

She thanked Ben & Ben for its continued support.

They’ve always been for Leni!

Not many people know that our relationship with them started in 2016. They were the ones who sang our Angat Buhay Theme Song when I was just a few months into my role as VP.

Thank you for your support always,” Robredo posted.
