Albay Capitol brings medical mission to Catburawan


Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara has spearheaded the medical mission in Catburawan and nearby barangays in Ligao City.

Hundreds of residents of Barangay Catburawan and nearby barangays got free medical, dental, and optical services brought by the provincial government.

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) headed by PGDH Dr. Estela B. Zenit oversaw the medical services.

The PHO logged 25 young boys who were circumcised, 16 residents were given anti-COVID-19 vaccine shots either on the first dose, second dose, and booster shots, 11 residents underwent free laboratory exams, 278 availed medical consultations,156 had eye check-ups, and 87 availed free dental services.

The Albay Provincial Agricultural Office (APAO) led by PGDH Che Rebeta also distributed varieties of ready-to-plant seeds.

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office also gave free wheelchairs to senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) and financial assistance to claimants who completed the requirements and passed the assessment tests.
