Albay gov’t provides free health care services to 7 Camalig barangays


The Albay provincial government, led by Governor Al Francis Bichara, has brought health care services to seven barangays in Camalig.

The provincial government offered free medical, dental, optical, and other services to residents of the said barangays to answer the health and social needs of the people.

The seven barangays were Iluluan, Miti, Parian, Manawan, Cabraran, Binanderahan, and Palanog of Camalig/

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) headed by PGDH Dr. Estela B. Zenit told Albay PIO that 500 residents availed of the medical consultation, nine received anti-COVID-19 vaccine, 209 availed optical consultation, 149 patients were given dental services, and 52 were circumcised.

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development headed by PGDH Eva Grageda also distributed 16 wheelchairs to senior citizens and persons with disability.
