Gov. Bichara brings medical mission in Legazpi


In his quest to bring the services to the people, Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara spearheaded the medical mission in five barangays in Legazpi City.

The governor brought medical, dental, optical and vet mission in five barangays of Legazpi City; namely, Bagong Abre, Matanag, Buyuan, Bogna, and Mabinit.

“The thousands of people who gathered and were served both in the barangay’s covered courts and at the barangay school’s covered court composed of a variety of ages, were given services including persons with disabilities (PWD),” the Albay PIO said.

“The activity was carried out through the full collaboration of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) headed by PGDH Dr. Eva Grageda, Albay Agriculture Office (APAO) headed by PGDH Che Rebeta, Albay Provincial Veterinary Office headed by PGDH Doc. Pancho Mella and the Provincial Health Office (PH0) headed by PGDH Officer-In-Charge Dr. Estela Zenit

In his visits to these barangays, Gov. Bichara called on the residents to stay safe, stressing the need to get vaccinated, and showing how his administration is consistently pushing and moving its resources of providing more social and health services.

In his short message, Gov. Bichara expressed his deep gratitude to the barangay officials, including all the barangay tanods and women groups for the kind support and for helping in gathering the residents at the covered courts of each of the barangays and maintaining and observing the required health protocols.

On the part of Vice Governor Edcel Greco A. Lagman, his office provided free “lugaw” or “arroz caldo” and “libreng gupit” to the residents in each of the five barangays while they queued and waited for their turns.
