Sturdy bed is testament to her father in law’s industry and ingenuity, says VP Robredo

Vice President Leni Robredo will always have a special bed to remember her father in law by.

Robredo paid tribute to her father in law Jose on his death anniversary.

In a Facebook post, Robredo shared a photo of the bed that he built for her and her late husband Jesse when they were newly married and living with her in-laws.

She said the bed is already 35 years old, but remains sturdy.

It was a testament to Jose’s industry and ingenuity, she said.

Even though he was blind, he was a topnotch carpenter, mechanic, and many other things, she said.

He’s truly an admirable man!
