Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez has expressed gratitude to the Philippine Red Cross for the donation the humanitarian group sent to the province for Odette victims.
Palawan was one of the provinces that suffered badly due to Typhoon Odette, which also pummeled other parts of Visayas and Mindanao last month.
“Maraming salamat sa Philippine Red Cross sa tulong na ipinaabot sa mga residente ng Palawan na nasalanta ng Bagyong Odette,” said Alvarez.
“Mabuhay kayo,” he added.
The humanitarian caravan of the Red Cross arrived in Roxas in Palawan last January 1.
The PRC brought a Water Tanker, Mobile Water Treatment Plant, Ambulance, Motorcycle, Food Truck, 10-wheeler Truck, 6-wheeler close truck, 6-wheel open truck, Land Cruiser, and VSAT 1 unit.
They also brought Generator, Camping tents, Satellite Phone, Shelter Repair Kits, Jerry cans, Sleeping kit, Hygiene kit, Tarpaulins, at Kitchen utensils.
