Some of the residents of Palawan affected by Odette did not go hungry thanks to Batangas Rep. Vilma Santos and her husband Sen. Ralph Recto.

In a Facebook post, Palawan Board Member Juan Anton Alvarez thanked the power couple for donating 80 sacks of rice.

This as distributed to residents who were affected by the typhoon, Alvarez said.

Their generosity knows no season!

“Lubos po ang ating pasasalamat sa paunang tulong na 80 Sacks na bigas mula sa tanggapan nina Senator Ralph Recto at Congw. Vilma Santos-Recto. Ang paunang tulong ay ibabahagi sa mga naapektuhan ng bagyong Odette sa lalawigan ng Palawan.

#BangonPalawan,” Alvarez posted.
