Villafuerte leads TUPAD payout distribution in Bula

New batch of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) beneficiaries from Bula have received their payout.
Camarines Sur Governor Miguel Villafuerte has spearheaded the distribution of payout to the beneficiaries in the said local government.
“Ang TUPAD o Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers ay isa sa mga regular na programa ng DOLE, na sa efforts at pakikipagtulungan ng Kapitolyo ay nakakapag-identify ng mga beneficiaries na nangangailangan ng ayuda,” said the governor.
“Halos 200 na beneficiaries ang ating na-identify sa panibagong round ng cash for work sa Bayan ng Bula, malaking tulong para sa panggastos ng pamilya,” he added.
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance of the Labor department that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days
Just recently, Villafuerte also led the TUPAD payout distribution in Balatan
“Panibagong round ng TUPAD Payout, sa pakikipagtulungan sa DOLE, ang ating dinala sa Bayan ng Balatan,” said Villafuerte.
“Mahigit 520 na beneficiaries ang nakatanggap ng ayuda sa pamamagitan ng cash for work program na ito na atin ding dinadala sa iba’t ibang bayan sa buong probinsya,” added the governor.
