Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez has convened the department heads of the Capitol to tackle the plans and interventions of the provincial government for the residents affected by Typhoon Odette.

The officials also discussed the funds donated by President Rodrigo Duterte amounting to P118 million.

Palawan was one of the provinces that was severely affected by Typhoon Odette.

The Provincial Government led a series of clearing and relief operations following the wrath of Odette, which also pummelled parts of Visayas and Mindanao.

President Duterte already visited the province following the onslaught of Typhoon Odette to assess the situation and bring relief aid.
