Camarines Norte first district Rep. Josie Tallado has also donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sets to the health workers from the second district of the province.
“Matapos ang pamamahagi sa mga health workers mula sa iba’t ibang Rural Health Unit sa Unang Distrito (Tagalog Speaking Municipalities), ibinahagi rin ni Congresswoman Josie Baning Tallado ang mga Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sets para sa Ikalawang Distrito (Bicol Speaking Municipalities),” said the lawmaker’s office.
The said PPEs worth P21 million came from the Department of Health.
“[K]abuuang 79 boxes na mga PPE’s ang natanggap ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Bayan ng Daet gayundin ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Talisay at isinagawa ang pamamahagi kasabay sa programang Ayuda sa Pandemya: Foodpacks and Medicine hatid ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan,” said Tallado’s office.
“Sa LGU-Daet, tinanggap ito ni Mayor Benito “B2K” Ochoa kasama si Dra. Lurene Tabara Tejada, MHU, ang 20 boxes PPE, 15 boxes gowns, 15 boxes gloves at 15 boxes facemasks, na ginanap sa Municipal Covered Court ng nasabing bayan,” it added.
In Talisay, Governor Egay Tallado spearheaded the distribution of the PPEs.
Municipal Administrator Marcial Barrios and Junmer Delion ng MDRRMO received 7 boxes PPE’s, 3 boxes medical gowns, 2 boxes gloves and 2 boxes facemasks.
“Ang mga PPE’s supplies kabilang ang mga N95 facemask, overall protective suit, medical gloves at iba pa na pinagkaloob ni Congresswoman Tallado, ay siya namang magagamit ng healthworkers/frontliners gaya ng mga nurses at doktor bilang proteksiyon sa virus dala ng COVID-19,” said the lawmaker’s office.
