Gov. Bichara welcomes PhilTOA delegates in Albay

Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara has recently welcomed the delegates of the Philippine Tour Association in the province.

Some 27 delegates of PhilTOA including media Organizations and Tourism Promotions Board recently visited Albay.

At the acquaintance night, which was held at the Pepperland Hotel Events Centre, the delegates had sumptuous treats at the desserts, coffee and tea stations, the capitol said.

Bichara welcomed the delegates and humbly asked the association to assist in the promotion of tourism industries of the province.

In response, PhilTOA’s President, Mr. Cesar Cruz, gently accepted and promised to help in the tourism industry’s promotion of Albay. They had been dying and waiting to reopen tourism in Albay, he said in a message.

Likewise, in the welcome speech delivered by Hon. Atty. Melissa Abadeza Armedilla, she was hopeful that the association will have more events and projects to bring to the province.

The capitol said that one of the purposes of the visit was to strengthen the ties between the private sectors, government entities and PhilTOA for the re-emerging of tourism industries in the province and the entire country.
