DOH records 83 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol

The Department of Health has logged 83 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol, pushing the region’s total caseload to 46,320.

Active cases as of November 16 are now 5,896 or 12.73% of the total cases.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

The DOH said the details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs.

Meanwhile, the dOH also reported 257 new recoveries, pushing the total number to 38,790.

Eight more persons succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 1,634.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” the DOH stressed
