DOH logs 76 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol

The Department of Health has reported 76 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol, pushing the region’s total case count to 46,192.

Active cases as of November 13 are now at 6,61, representing around 14% of the total caseload.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

ALBAY: 20 (26.32%)
8 – Legazpi City
7 – Bacacay
3 – Tabaco City
1 – Guinobatan
1 – Polangui

CAM NORTE: 1 (1.32%)
1 – Labo

CAM SUR: 14 (18.42%)
6 – Naga City
4 – Pamplona
1 – Gainza
1 – Goa
1 – Nabua
1 – Tinambac

CATANDUANES: 33 (43.42%)
12 – Virac
7 – Caramoran
5 – Pandan
3 – Gigmoto
3 – San Andres
2 – Bagamanoc
1 – Bato

MASBATE: 1 (1.32%)
1 – Masbate City

SORSOGON: 7 (9.21%)

The DOH said the details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs.

Meanwhile, the DOH also logged 188 new recoveries and five new fatalities.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
