OkSi Rep. Sato gives cash aid to 9 associations

Occidental Mindoro Rep. Josephine Ramirez-Sato has recently provided financial assistance to nine associations in the province.

Each beneficiary received P50,000 from Sato, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

The beneficiaries were: Alipaoy, Calawagan Communal Irrigators Association Inc., Alipaoy, Harrison Tungloy Farmers Association Inc., PALGAPU Farmers Association, Samahan ng Magtatanim ng Sibuyas sa Paluan, Anduyanan Anggatan Iraya Magsandak Pamangnon Association, Unlad Paluan, Annfayca Fisherfolks Association, Public Market Vendors Association and Pag-Asa ng Bayan Fisherfolks Association (PABFA).

“Nag bigay ng ayudang pangkabuhayan si Cong. Nene para sa mga samahan sa Paluan, upang makatulong sa kanilang pagbangon mula sa epekto ng pandemya. Hangad niya na ang ayudang ito ay maging daan para mas maraming pang matulungan sa kanilang mga kanayon at komunidad,” said Sato’s office.

“Ang Livelihood Assistance program ay proyekto ni Cong. Nene, katuwang ang DSWD,” it added.

Joining the lawmaker during the activity were BM Philip Ramirez, Abra de ilog Mayor Eric Constantino, BM AJ Rebong, BM Jun Abeleda, Prov’l. ABC Pres. Abelardo Pangilinan, SB Cherry Virola San Agustin, SB Lynette Torreliza, SB Vladymir Gaupo, and SB Ricky De Roa.

Atty. Jun Tejoso, Arjay Zoleta, PB Jolan Crisostomo, PB Domingo Tamayo Jr., Mari Mae Tagumpay, Lorenzo Abeleda and DSWD Representative Tiffany Billones also graced the event.
