Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez has touted the Sewage and Solid Waste Treatment Plant that recently commenced operations in the province.

The said waste treatment plant opened in Sitio Batbat, Barangay Villa Libertad last September.

“‘Yan ang kauna-unahang sewerage water treatment plant project sa Palawan na pinagtulungang itayo ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, Lokal na Pamahalaan ng El Nido at Palawan Water,” the governor said.

Alvarez said that it served as the solution to the water and waste management woes in El Nido.
