Albay VG Lagman says Bicol is excited for Robredo’s vision for the region

Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman said Bicolandia is honored by the presence of Vice President Leni Robredo, noting that Bicolanos are excited for her vision to the region.

Robredo visited Albay yesterday and had a lunch hosted by the vice governor’s father Rep. Edcel Lagman.

The younger Lagman thanked Robredo for acknowledging his father in her speech.

“Thank you, madame VP, for mentioning in your speech how you consistently sought Cong. Edcel’s advice relative to your plans,” he said.

“Surely, there will be more conversations of import between you guys in the near future—-over delicious food, of course,” he added.

Robredo is gunning for presidency in 2022.

“Bicolandia, and my beloved Albay in particular, is honored and humbled by your presence. As Bicolanos, we are all hopeful and excited how you presented your vision and the wonderful possibilities for our region,” said Lagman.

“But more than these, it’s your message of hope that we all can believe in and your call to unite that’s so genuine both struck a chord in our hearts,” he added.
