295 new COVID-19 cases logged in Bicol

The Department of Health has recorded 295 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol, bringing the total case count in the region to 42,542.

Active cases as of October 18 are now at 13,202 representing 31.
03% of the total cases.

The DOH said the details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs.

Meanwhile, 325 new patients have recuperated from the disease, pushing the total recoveries to 28,040.

But there are 13 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 1,300.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
