DOH urges Bicolanos to get vaccinated after gov’t expanded the vaccine rollout
The Department of Health encouraged Bicolanos to register for COVID-19 vaccination after the government opened the inoculation initiative to the rest of the adult population.
“Ang pagbabakuna sa ating Rest of Adult Population ay nagsimula noong October 8, 2021. Ang lahat na edad 18 pataas ay maari nang bakunahan,” the DOH Bicol said.
“Habang patuloy na dumarating ang bakuna sa rehiyon, hinihikayat ng DOH Bicol CHD ang lahat na Bicolano na magparehistro na sa inyong Local Government Unit (LGU) para sa COVID-19 vaccination,” it added.
The department, meanwhile, said that vaccination of those belonging to the Priority Group A (A1-A2-A3-A4-A5) will continue.
The priority group framework is as follows:
A. Priority Group A
A1: workers in essential health services
-Expanded A1: OFWs leaving in the next 4 months, household members of A1, and additional A1
A2: Senior Citizens
A3: Individuals with Comorbidities
-Expanded A3: Pregnant Women
A4: Workers in Essential Services
A5: Indigent Population
B. Rest Of Adult Population (ROAP)
