It’s Sato vs Gadiano for OkSi governor in 2022 polls

Occidental Mindoro Governor Eduardo Gadiano is seeking reelection and will face Rep. Josephine Ramirez-Sato in the 2022 polls.

Gadiano has already filed his certificate of candidacy for the gubernatorial post.

“Isang taos pusong pasasalamat ang aking nais ipaabot sa lahat ng sumama sa pagfile ng aking Certificate of Candidacy at sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Team Ganado Tayo,” said the governor.

“Nagpapasalamat din po ako sa iba pang mga kasamahan natin na nais sumama upang magpakita ng kanilang suporta, subalit mas mahalaga po para sa akin ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa at patuloy na pagsunod natin sa health protocols na ipinatutupad ng ating mga kinauukulan,” he added.

Leody “Odie” F. Tarriela will run as congressman of the lone district of Occidental Mindoro. While Senior Board Member Diana Credo Apigo-Tayag will run as Gadiano’s vice governor.

“Muli, maraming salamat po sa lahat ng suporta at pagmamahal,” Gadiano said.

Sato, who is serving her last term as congresswoman, also filed her candidacy for governor.
