Sarado po! Rizal, Occ. Mindoro Mayor Sonny Pablo announces temporary lockdown of municipal hall
COVID-19 has gotten to local government employees in Rizal, so its municipal hall will be shuttered for some time.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Sonny Pablo announced the temporary lockdown of the municipal hall from August 25 to September 5.
This was approved by the Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force for the safety of LGU employees and visitors, he said.
According to him, the decision was reached after some local government employees, police personnel and their close contacts became positive for COVID-19.
The welfare of the people is his priority, and he wants to keep them safe during this pandemic, he said.
He asked them to pray for the safety of the town and its people.
The town hall will resume operations on September 6, he said.
Before this date, don’t come knocking on its doors yet!
#MayorSonny,” Pablo posted.
