Sa wakas! El Nido LGU employees finally get salaries through the ATM, says Mayor Edna Gacot Lim
The distribution of salaries in El Nido has finally gone high tech.
In a Facebook post, El Nido Mayor Edna Gacot Lim said the local government has started opening payroll accounts with the Development Bank of the Philippines for the easier distribution of the salaries of its employees.
With the opening of the accounts, they would be able to get their salaries through ATM withdrawals, she said.
This would do away with the long lines to get their salaries and would ensure they would get their money on time, she added.
At the moment, only regular employees have been given a schedule for their account opening.
But the casual employees would get their schedule soon, she said.
She thanked the DBP for helping El Nido with its setting up the new accounts.
Finally, El Nido has upgraded its system!
“Zana All naka-ATM!
