Rep. Tallado leads orientation of new DOLE interns

Camarines Norte Rep. Josie Tallado has spearheaded the pre-orientation of 115 new interns of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under its Government Internship Program (GIP).

The funds for this program amounted to P2,375,000.00

“Sa nasabing pondo, tatanggap ang bawat isa ng nagkakahalagang P310/day (provincial rate) at ito ay ibinahagi na sa iba pang mga ahensya ng pambansang pamahalaan at mga munisipalidad sa loob ng 1st District. Base sa itinakda ng nasabing programa kung kaya’t aabot ng nasa 20,460 ang bawat isang intern sa loob ng 66 days nilang trabaho,” the lawmaker’s office said

Present during the activity were 1st District Board Members Artemio Serdon, Bong Quibral and Aida Dasco.

Also in attendance were Paracale Municipal Councilor Nestor Manarang, Labo Municipal Councilor Muriel Pandi and Sta. Elena Municipal Councilor Ramil Lagamayo.

“ANG nasabing intership program ay isa lamang sa maraming programa ng opisina ni Congresswoman Josie Baning Tallado katuwang ang Department of Labor and Employment na magbibigay ng pagkakataon at opportunidad sa larangan ng trabaho,” the solon’s office said.

“Sa pamamagitan nito, mabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga kabataan sa Unang Disrito na magkaroon ng pansamantalang trabaho ngayong COVID-19 pandemic at higit sa lahat ay magiging bahagi sa tinatawag na nation building,” it added.
