Robredo shares updates on Swab Cab initiative in Naga City
Vice President Leni Robredo has shared some updates regarding her Swab Cab initiative in Naga City today.
Robredo said that her project, in partnership with the Naga City government, was able to swab test 174 people.
“Of that number, 22 already tested positive. That’s about 12.6% positivity rate. Our goal is to push that down to less than 5%. That means we have to test more and improve our contact tracing,” said Robredo.
Meanwhile, Robredo also expressed gratitude to all the volunteers who worked even on weekends.
“We would like to give special thanks to our volunteers who have been working all weekend despite the heavy rains over the past days,” she said.
The Vice President launched the Swab Cab initiative in Naga last July 2.
