Rep. Tonton Kho turns over new health station to Brgy. Naro, Cawayan
Masbate Rep. Wilton Kho has turned over a newly constructed health station to the Brgy. Naro in Cawayan.
“Healthcare is considered to be something that people are entitled to. Everyone has the right to have access to healthcare whenever they need it,” Kho’s office said.
“Even if it’s pandemic, government’s effort to have a widespread healthcare system is conspicuously realized,” it added.
And one of these efforts is the building of another health center located in Brgy. Naro, Municipality of Cawayan.
“A blessing was hereby given to the newly-constructed building as extension to provide a fast and reliable healthcare facility in barangay,” the lawmaker’s office said.
Kho graced the event, together with Sangguniang Bayan Member Dany Omilla, Barangay Captain Beverlita Balangawan and Former SB member Mario Balangawan.
“The construction of this health center aims to give accessibility to the people of Barangay Naro in terms of services like checkups, health promotion and primary care among patients especially when they can’t immediately go to the district hospital,” Kho’s office said.
“This is a manifestation that we are working hard to provide beneficial services for the people of the 3rd District of Masbate,” it added.
