Catanduanes Rep. Hector Sanchez expressed his full support to the construction of an Abaca fiber processing facility in Caramoan, the first of its kind in the country.

The groundbreaking of Acaba Tuxy Buying Special Project or ATBSP Fiber Processing Facility was held yesterday in Sabangan, Caramoran.

He also claimed that the facility will benefit the farmers as it will provide them income.

Although he skipped the event, Sanchez said that he will support the abaca farmers in Catanduanes.
