Welcome, Poles! El Nido Mayor Edna Lim meets with Polish officials to establish tourism ties
El Nido Mayor Edna Lim is preparing for the revival of tourism, and she is taking steps to corner the Polish tourists.
A post on Lim’s Facebook page said the Mayor received a visit from Polish embassy officials.
Polish Consul Aleksander Parzych and Vice Consul Bartosz Woźniczko came to El Nido to meet with agencies for the establishment of an honorary consulate office in Palawan.
Lim’s page said this is a small step toward helping the tourism industry recover amid the pandemic.
It will help El Nido connect with polish friends who want to visit the town and see its wonderful spots.
When the time comes, El Nido will welcome the Poles with open arms!
Mr. Aleksander Parzych – Counsellor, Consul of the Republic of Poland in Manila and Mr. Bartosz Woźniczko – Polish Vice Consul visits Mayor Edna Gacot-Lim today, June 16th at her office.
The Polish Consul and Vice Consul are to discuss with the relative agencies for the establishment of an honorary consulate office in the Province of Palawan.
