Oriental Mindoro Board Member Juday Servando has not been spared from the coronavirus infection.

Servando revealed in a Facebook post that she tested positive for COVID 19 on May 30.

She underwent voluntary isolation after being exposed to a positive patient even though she had no symptoms at that time.

She later started exhibiting symptoms of the disease and was confined on June 3.

By June 8, she was cleared for discharge and is now recovering.

She thanked all the doctors and nurses who took care of her as well the government officials and personnel who helped her.

She also expressed gratitude to those who sent her food, medical assistance, and messages of support.

Her experience with COVID had not been easy, but she is keeping the faith and is looking forward to returning and serving the people of Mindoro, she said.

She will bounce back from this!

“Mapagpalang araw po sa lahat!

Last Sunday, May 30, 2021, I tested positive for COVID-19. Though I did not experience any symptoms, I voluntarily subjected myself for isolation as per our COVID-19 quarantine procedures when I knew na naexpose ako sa isang covid positive.

It may not be enough, but I would like to give you my warmest thanks for all your concerns and sincere prayers.

I hope you understand my current situation.

I am keeping the faith and courage and promise to come back and continue serving you all my dear Mindoreños. Thank you po and may God bless us all!

Stay safe, everyjuan!
