Save the schools! Palawan Board Member Ryan Maminta leads calls vs tax hike on private schools
Palawan has added its voice to those supporting private schools in their bid to fight a higher income tax rate.
In a Facebook post, Board Member Ryan Maminta said the provincial board has approved his resolution expressing opposition to the planned increase of the income tax on private schools from 10 percent to 25 percent.
It also backed the swift passage of the bill of Sen. Sonny Angara that seeks to correct the Bureau of Internal Revenue regulation being protested by the private schools.
Save the schools!
#MatinoMahusayMaaasahan,” Maminta posted.
