The Palawan provincial government has allocated additional budget for its COVID-19 response amid the rising cases in the province.

The additional budget was sourced from the Trust Fund of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council as well as the Regular Fund of the PDRRMO.

Meanwhile, the additional food packs will be distributed to the areas and barangays that declared granular lockdowns. The budget of which will be sourced from the Quick Response Fund (QRF).

The Capitol also aims to establish additional Molecular Laboratories in San Vicente and Brooke’s Point.
