Budding artists have a chance to thrive and flourish in Naga.

This is because it has approved an ordinance declaring the third week of May as “Naga City Local Youth Artists Week (LYAW),” according to Mayor Nelson Legacion.

In a Facebook post, Legacion said the ordinance would promote art and support young local creatives.

Activities will be carried out yearly to celebrate the young artists, he said.
