Palawan Vice Governor Dennis Socrates spearheaded the meeting of the Provincial IATF and PDRRMC to find solutions to the rising COVID-19 cases in the province.

Also present during the meeting were PDRRMO Jerry Alili, Provincial Administrator Atty. Joshua Bolusa, Acting PHO Dra. Faye Erika Labrador and Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Jethro Palayon.

The Health Cluster zeroed in on the COVID-19 status, Vaccination Roll-out and the License to Operate ng Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory in Brgy. Irawan.

Labrador also said that those who will turn out to be positive in the Rapid Antigen Test will be considered COVID-19 positive.

“Sa pag-uusap namin ng Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit, ang Antigen positive will be considered as COVID-19 positive and no need for RT-PCR test.”

So we can prevent immediately yung spread [ng virus]…”, PDRRMO Jerry Alili said for his part.
