Marinduque Gov. Velasco hails Breeder Animal Dispersal Program

Marinduque Governor Presbitero Velasco has lauded the successful staging of Breeder Animal Dispersal Program recently.

Velasco said that the said program is one of the priorities of the provincial government with the assistance of Speaker Lord Allan Velasco.

“Dalawang magkasunod na araw po tayong namahagi sa pamamagitan ng Provincial Veterinary Office ng 248 head native pigs na may timbang na 25-30 kilos sa iba’t ibang farmer cooperatives sa Brgy. Bangwayin Brgy. Bonliw, Brgy. Cabuyo, Brgy. Malinao, Brgy. Maranlig at Poblacion, Torrijos, Brgy. Masalukot, Santa Cruz, Brgy. Malbog, Buenavista at Brgy. Binunga, Boac,” said the older Velasco.

“Nagpapasalamat po tayo sa ating minamahal na Speaker Lord Allan Velasco sa kaniyang suporta sa ating programa na maparami ang alagang baboy sa ating lalawigan,” he added.

Also in attendance during the activity were Bokal Buchi Rivamonte Rosales, Bokal Jojo Leva, Mayor Lorna Velasco at Vice Mayor Ricardo de Galicia of Torrijos, Mayor Nancy Castro Madrigal and Vice Mayor David Vitto of Buenavista, Former Vice Governor Tomas Pizarro as well as representatives from the Municipal Agriculture Office.

“Asahan po ninyo ang patuloy na suporta at paglikha ng mga makabuluhang programa para sa kapakanan ng ating mga kababayang Marinduqueño lalo na po sa panahon ng pandemya,” said the governor.
