Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman recently marked his second year in his position, and now looks at his electoral victory with a fresh perspective.
In a Facebook post, Lagman shared the post of Opinyon Bicol which recognized the fact that he garnered 360,013 votes, which is the highest so far received by a candidate in Albay.
Lagman said he was honored by the post because it helped him understand his mandate better.
He looks at this honor with deeper understanding and a wider perspective, he said.
It has also motivated him to do more beyond the call of duty.
He vowed to look at election number more closely and respond accordingly, he said.
His poll results aren’t just numbers, these are the people’s sovereign will, he added.
Respect the numbers!
“Happy Saturday, Albay!
Happy 2nd anniversary to us!
Super honored to have seen and read Opinyon Bicol’s (OB) post because it made me better understand the importance of the mandate my province mates gave me last 13 May 2019.
Now i have a deeper understanding and a wider perspective of this singular honor. Indeed, i am more aware that i have to serve all Albayanos to the best of my ability. It has also made me honor this by committing to exercise their command even beyond the call of duty.
I am sharing a screenshot of OB’s post with the consent of its administrators. Thank you OB peeps for researching on this. From now on i will look at election numbers more closely. I will give these electoral results the needed attention and requisite appreciation. Because these are not just mere numbers—-they are ones that truly reflect the people’s sovereign will.
Dios mabalos po sa saindo gabos!
All anniversaries must be marked by important milestones. Thank you, OB, for providing me with a very relevant one!
