Make sure you know your wedding ninongs well, Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman advises couples
Choosing a ninong or ninang for your wedding is matter not to be taken lightly.
For Albay Vice Gov. Grex Lagman, soon-to-be married couples should make sure that they know their ninong well.
In a Facebook post, Lagman advised them that it would be in their best interest to personally invite their wedding godparents.
He also said this would ensure the prospective godparents would be more committed to carry out their duties for the couple.
He said he himself makes sure he gets to know the couple first before agreeing to stand as sponsor in their wedding.
This allows him to have a more personal relationship with the couple..
Looks like he takes his ninong duties seriously!
Who’s your ninong? Make sure you know him.
It’s always in the best interest of a couple to personally invite their wedding godparents. On a personal note, this makes the prospective wedding godparent feel more committed to earnestly undertake his duties as wedding sponsor if he personally knows his prospective wedding godchildren. ❤️❤️
With my prospective wedding godkids who personally invited me today to be their ninong, to wit: 1. Soon-to-be Mr. And Mrs. Orvil and Gessabel Guevarra of Manito, Albay set to be married on May 20; 2. Soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Migz and Celica Jane Vasquez Reniculla-Dacala of Oas and Libon, Albay who’ll tie the knot on June 9. ❤️
